learn one tiny thing at a time.
Need a hand, hit a bug, or want to report something? The fastest way to reach a human is email: hello@curos.app. We read every message and try to reply within a day or two. Below are answers to the things people ask most.
Getting started
What is Curos?
Curos is a calm curiosity feed. Each card is one small, genuinely interesting idea, told in plain words with a little hand-drawn doodle. Pick a topic — or hit "surprise me" — swipe up for the next one, and double-tap any story to open a longer read.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Curos uses a lightweight account so your topics and progress follow you. Signing up takes one tap and an email — no password to create or remember.
Signing in
How do I sign in?
Enter your email address and we'll send you a one-time code. Type the code in and you're in. There is no password.
My code didn't arrive.
Give it a minute, then check your spam or junk folder. Make sure the email address is spelled correctly, and that your connection is working. Still nothing? Request a new code, or email us at hello@curos.app and we'll help.
The code says it expired.
Codes are short-lived for security. Just request a fresh one and use it promptly.
Using Curos
How do I move through the feed?
Swipe up for the next story and swipe down to go back. Double-tap anywhere on a story to open a deeper read on the same idea.
How do I add my own topics?
On the home screen, tap the dotted "+" and type anything you're curious about — roman aqueducts, jazz theory, black holes, why cats purr. Curos builds a feed around it.
What is 'surprise me'?
The big centre bubble. Tap it (or swipe up from home) for a random spark from anywhere — a good way to fall down a rabbit hole.
Does it learn what I like?
Yes, gently. The more you read, the more Curos leans toward the subjects you enjoy — while still surprising you now and then. Your reading history stays on your device.
How do I delete a topic?
Press and hold a topic bubble to enter edit mode, then tap the "–" badge — or long-press a topic on the "you" page. Built-in topics can't be removed, but any topic you add can.
Content & safety
How do I report a story?
Open the "…" menu at the top of any story and choose "report this story". We review reports and use them to improve what Curos shows.
Is Curos suitable for everyone?
Curos is made for general audiences, and topics are checked before a feed is built. If something still feels off, please report it — it genuinely helps.
Troubleshooting
A story won't load or looks stuck.
Check your internet connection first — Curos needs to reach the internet to generate fresh stories. Swipe to the next card, or close and reopen the app. If it keeps happening, let us know what you were doing and we'll look into it.
The app feels slow.
Generating a brand-new story can take a moment, especially the first one after opening. It should feel instant after that as Curos works a couple of cards ahead. Persistent slowness is worth reporting.
Your account & data
How do I delete my account?
Open the app → profile (top-right) → account → delete account. This removes your account and the data tied to it. It can't be undone.
What do you do with my data?
As little as possible. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture — the short version is that we don't sell your data, don't train AI on it, and don't show ads.
Still stuck?
Email hello@curos.app with what happened (and a screenshot if you have one) and we'll get back to you. Feature ideas and kind words welcome too.
